This joins a long and proud epistolary sub-genre of “novel as transcript” (or is it “transcript as novel”?) which includes:

Illuminae
Sleeping Giants
Unfortunately, all of the characters here speak with the same voice, so even though it’s trying very hard to read like a transcript, it just reads as a male-centric third person novel. A sentient computer named Archos is created and it begins converting all androids to its will and attempting to eliminate humans. The book is told from several viewpoints, starting with Archos creation and following into the ensuing war. It probably helps if you're approaching this book as someone who doesn't normally read "hard" sci-fi/robot-overlord type stuff, because I'm sure there's plenty here to annoy for those who've seen pretty much every variation on the theme there is. Coming at it from an outsider's view, though, I like it - the narrative structure works for me, and I care sufficiently little about the technical details that any errors or omissions in that regard aren't noticeable to me.
