What Members Thought
Although often described as a novel, this slim book doesn't readily resemble most reader's formulations of that label. It's more an assemblage of fifteen short stories, some of which are 2-3 page vignettes and others, longer, more traditional narratives. They are linked by what appears to be the shared time and place of 1970s Albania, under the socialist regime of Enver Hoxha.
