Sethe and her daughter Denver live in a house that is haunted by the spirit of her dead two year old daughter Beloved. Then Paul D, an acquaintance from when Sethe was a slave shows up and soon after so does a young woman named Beloved. This book covers some important topics but it was so slow to read.
