I am not really sure what I think of Hrabal, I had read another book by him (Too Loud a Solitude), and sort of liked it, but I didn't love it. I had tried to read The Little Town Where Time Stood Still, but found that the introduction was better than the book.
Closely Watched Trains is better than the two I just mentioned, and I can see why it was made into a movie. The ending is amazing
