The final Wallander from Mankell.. and I'm sad this great detective's career is over. I've loved Wallander for years and Mankell is a master murder mystery storyteller. Last in the Kurt Wallander series. Mankell not only writes a mystery for his inspector to solve, he also provides a pragmatic social commentary about the state of his country in the post-Cold War world.
