I found this book fascinating! Siddhartha Mukherjee has compiled a masterful combination of the history and treatment of cancer. The chemistry and biology is simplified to make is mostly comprehensible to lay readers. There is still a lot of medical and chemistry explanations, so if you are not especially interested in how the body works, this book is probably not for you.

Extremely informative book about cancer written for people who know a little or a lot about the disease. Infinitely readable.
