This book broke my heart, while simultaneously annoying my inner literary critic. She does an excellent job of personifying images and stories that are taken from real historical events. My only complaint, perhaps, would be that all these historical ...more

Dragged in some passes ever so slightly but overall a good pace and mix of historical and factual with some dramatization. Very contextual against the backdrop of the recent bombing in Gaza.
