What an interesting take on Russian history! This novel reads like historical fiction but has the aristocracy of Russia cast as vampires and witches, with a few zombies thrown in for good measure. What could have come off as bizarre actually turns out to be quite a good story. This was an awesome story, and terrible writing. I do hope the next books improve in writing style and layout of information, because this is a great story with lots of potential.
A very exciting story which takes place in the Royal Court of Russia. It includes vampires, undead armies, Dark and Light fairie courts, and lots of intrigue.
