In Exit Wounds, a tall young woman named Numi ropes a befuddled taxi driver Koby into investigating whether or not his father was the unidentified victim in a bus station bombing. Rather than focusing on the reason behind these bombings, the story looks instead at complicated family life and intimate relationships across classes in Tel Aviv. Loved the simple graphical representation in this, the greyed out backgrounds. Story is an interesting companion to Sacco's Palestine, very different experiences of place. Haven't quite figured out the representation of women in it yet. ...more
