The best part of this book are the bits about Iceland and Islanders. Such an unforgiving climate and such an isolated part of the world for a long time make its history fascinating. The mystery part is a bonus
Entertaining second episode in this series where a lawyer does the sleuthing. As with the first one, told in a witty way but it didn't jar with me as much as last time.

Mi-a plăcut mult felul în care autoarea scrie, felul în care descrie personajele, dar și finalul neașteptat al cărții. Suflete damnate este un roman thriller care conține foarte mult suspans și care a reușit să mă șocheze puțin. Personajul principal al cărții este avocata Thora Gudmundsdóttir și din câte am înțeles eu, ea apare și în celelalte cărți ale scriitoarei islandeze.
