Not a genre or book I would generally read, but a member of my book club challenged me to try some of Gregory's books. Historical fiction about Jacquetta of Luxembourg whose first-born eventually becomes Queen of England. She has no children in her first, arranged marriage to an older widower. After his death, she marries her first husband's squire without the court's permission. She gives birth to 14 children (for real!) in this marriage.
