Meine Meinung:
Jennifer Donnelly ist eine unfassbar gute Autorin. Nach "Die Teerose" und "Die Winterrose", hat sie es auch mit "Der Wildrose" geschafft, persönliche Schicksale wunderbar mit dem geschichtlichen Hintergrund zu verstricken und so einen fesselnden Roman zu schreiben, der sowohl die "Histo-Freunde" als auch für "Chicklit-Freunde" etwas ist.

This is a long book, and the story has a few (almost predictable) twists and turns. The characters have their flaws, they move around the world with an ease that we can only envy in a post-covid world, and they somehow muddle through impossible situations. Summary: entertaining, definitely worth reading, interesting characters.
