As with his previous book, entertaining, informative, funny, and a page turner.
I'm giving it a 4 because it was enjoyable, fun. I's not a gripping book, but full of short stories/memories that gave me a break after reading some historical fiction about slavery. It was a welcome break!

I wonder why the author chose to become a safari guide? He seems ill prepared for it and has no real interest in wild animals.
an enjoyable memoir about the author's time in Africa leading safaris and other various jobs in the industry. anyone who loves animals or adventures will enjoy reading the book. it is amazing the author lived to tell his story based on some of the snippets he shares.
