This was an amazing biography that was told well, never flagging or sliding into boring minutiae that can often happen in a long biography. Very engaging. I am now very motivated to do some more reading of Bonhoeffer first-hand. I am especially interested in his book on ethics, given the difficult and complex issues in that realm that he & other true Christians had to deal with during the rise of Hitler's evil Third Reich. It was sickening to read how many of the so-called Lutheran State Church
