Another 3.5 stars....(ok I admit this is getting silly). Quite different from "The Rice Mother".It starts and ends in Bali, but in between moves to London and the story is told by a number of unrelated but interconnected and seriously flawed characters who document the "innocence corrupted" mentioned on the cover. The author even puts herself into the plot.
