There’s a whole lot of self-indulgent twaddle going on here; this needed major editing. Just too darned long for the story it was telling. DNF.
I'm not a comic book fan at all but this is a lot more and I like comic books just a little bit now.

Wasn't sure if this one would take after I loathed the movie version of Wonder Boys, but Chabon hooked me early and it just got better from there. Big and imaginative, and much enjoyed by me.
