An amazing look at the post-1972 Olympics Israeli massacre and how the Israelis & Mossad handled sending a strong & in-your-face message to those responsible for that evil. The movie "Munich" was based on it and did an excellent job in bringing this book to life accurately.

While the story is compelling, the writing for this was too off-putting to be overlooked. At times it felt like a big political propaganda, blaming the URSS for the birth of middle East terrorism, as if western nations didn't have an ounce of blame. All in all it was only an ok book, with it's highlights like how it depicts the relationship between Avner and the people in his life, but that was it.
