I get the feeling that I wouldn't like Guy Delisle in person. While I enjoy traveling through his books, I find his presentation of others to be...off-putting. Maybe he was just younger when he did this one, because I do remember loving Burma Chronicles. Anyhow, Pyongyang presents an ex-pat experience of North Korea as Delisle lived there a couple of months while working for an animation studio. I'm likely to never experience this on my own since I think Americans can only go for the mass games ...more
