Loved this book. A fictional story based on events and experiences that took place in South Africa in 2008. This was when a lot of refugees were coming in from areas like Zimbabwe and Somalia and were being attacked by South Africans based on unfounded fears - xenophobia. It's still happening around the world but I loved how this story showed what it's about to work together and take the good from everyone.
Really well written. I definitely look forward to reading more from Williams. This novel ...more

This is such a sad book, but one that everyone should read so that we know about the problems in the rest of the world. The main character is a young boy from Zimbabwe who loves to play soccer, but then is driven out of his country and forced to become homeless. It is a good story that brings the spotlight to problems in this area of the world.
