This is a historical fiction, mostly fiction because it's based on Julius Caesar’s younger years - which apparently there isn't much history on. It was pretty good. Nothing compared to the Genghis Khan series written by Iggulden. That series is phenomenal.
I still look forward to reading book two.

If you love historical fiction, and I do, then this book is a great book to read..It was hard to put down. There were times when I struggled to put it down because I didn't want to finish it! Luckily, there is a sequel to this one..If Ancient Rome and Julius Ceaser are some of your favorite subjects, this book will leave you thrilled and happy that books like this exist!!!! ...more
