This is a historical fiction, mostly fiction because it's based on Julius Caesar’s younger years - which apparently there isn't much history on. It was pretty good. Nothing compared to the Genghis Khan series written by Iggulden. That series is phenomenal.

If you love historical fiction, and I do, then this book is a great book to read..It was hard to put down. There were times when I struggled to put it down because I didn't want to finish it!
