What Members Thought

Definitely gets markedly better in the last 100 pages or so, but what ultimately sours me on this one is the cludgy translations of German words. I don't know if it's specific to the British edition or if it appears in the American version as well, but honestly, I don't need to have Wilhelmstrasse translated as Wilhelm Street the entire time. It happens constantly throughout and lends such an awkward tone, particularly when compared against writers like Alan Furst and Phillip Kerr.
