Well nobody weaves a medieval epic quite like Sharon Kay Penman. A very interesting story about a fight for the medieval form of civil rights. I also like that she addressed the pretty horrible anti-Semitism that existed during that time instead of glossing it over. While this was definitely a story of British lords, Jews and commoners had a voice as they did in this actual struggle. Just another way to increase my Anglophilia.
