I'm sorry, I don't see what the big deal is. I read the book in highschool and didn't care for it. So when I was older I thought maybe becoming more mature would have helped me to appreciate the book more. Nope. Still nothing. I can appreciate what this book did to the literary landscape at the time, but I don't think it's worth all the hype.
