I've been in a reading funk lately and for anyone that knows me ... knows that I usually have a book that I am reading. After months of not finishing a book - I sat in a movie theater and watched a trailer for the movie/documentary called "Salinger". I went out and bought "The Catcher in the Rye" the next day.

This is one of those books that everyone I know had to read in school at some point but for some reason I never did. I'm glad I've finally taken the initiative. I love how Holden constantly judged everyone including himself and kept making contradictory statements. He is the epitome of teenager in all their crazy, hormonal, i-don't-know-anything-but-think-i-know-everything attitude.
