Very readable book. An easy read. Written in first person which drew you into the story.

It's somewhat odd to describe a book about a rescued Nazi prisoner as fluffy, but it's a fair characterization. If I'd read this as a teenager, I would have loved it - it's got that "our love is EPIC" vibe that totally goes over when you're 15 and maudlin. As a cynical adult, though, it feels a little overwrought. ...more
