This book is about an Australian couple who decide to buy and then remodel a house in the Medina in Fez. I found it fascinating, in large part because I know very little about Moroccan culture and even less about the geography of Fez. Their tale was intriguing, and their ultimate success in having a beautiful, historically faithful house was nothing short of a miracle.
