I don’t understand why the book has such poor reviews but I guess it’s mainly because it’s being compared to the film. I decided to read this book mainly because I couldn’t quite remember watching the movie. I remember the movie playing in the background when I was younger but don’t think I actually sat down to watch it which gave me a more objective view of the book. This book is quite fast paced with snappy dialogue. I can't say I warmed to any of the characters, they just weren't fleshed out enough. However it was a compelling plot. ...more
