What Members Thought
A very atmospheric book set in Paris in the months immediately preceding the outbreak of WWII. Ravic is a refugee from the Nazis who is also a very skilled surgeon and working illegally in France. The language and feel of the book have an expecting the worse/resigned to tragedy quality that really captured the time and setting. I listened to the audiobook and the narrator was excellent.
