I like a book that has you going to the dictionary once in a while; it's good for you.
I usually only read the first line or sentence of the book description on the back cover so that less is spoiled during reading. So I only knew that the main character, Leo, believes his wife has disappeared and has been replaced by a physically identical "simulacrum." And somehow from the very beginning I believe Leo.
