After seeing this book a lot around, I desided that I had to read it. At first I struggeled a bit to get into the story, but I'm glad I continued reading. Because the book is beautiful, filled with love, hope and loss.

"The History of Love" is an incredible book. Centering around two protagonists, Leo Gursky, a Holocaust survivor living in New York, and Alma, a young girl looking for the woman she was named after, the story slowly develops and culminates in a beautiful and emotional ending.

I didn't really like this book. It seemed to take an extraordinarily long time to pull together the various threads of the plot.
