What Members Thought
Gripping, fast-paced thriller set like many Follett books in WWII. The hero is a rather geeky young Danish man who ends up working for the resistance. It's a David-and-Goliath story as the hero manages to evade Nazi forces. There's a great plot involving Nazi collaborators and personal vendettas, plus plenty of drama as the story pits the amateur spies of the resistance against more experienced and ruthless forces. A nice choice for vacation reading - swiftly paced with numerous twists and turns, but a predictable plot that doesn't require much in the way of brain power.
