Wow, 5 stars! This is a fantastic book loosely based on true people and events. It’s a moving story about Zulaikha, a young girl in Afghanistan. Through her life I learned a lot about life in Afghan. Zulaikha also has a cleft lip, so she has added struggles with that. I highly recommend this book to anyone wanting to learn more about the people of Afghanistan.
