I was fascinating with how Afghanistan
changed under the Taliban. At first,
simple laws were passed that restricted
activities the Taliban considered evil.
Slowly, more and more laws were passed,
making more and more activities declared
evil. Finally, the laws were so stringent
that no one, not even the Taliban, was
