Finally, someone has found a way to end terrorism. Greg Mortenson has been working since the 1990s to establish schools in small Himalayan villages in northern Pakistan. Later he starts to do the same in Afghanistan. He also especially supports the education of women. The schools do teach the Islamic faith, but in its usual form, not in the terrorist,Jihadist manner that is being taught in the Islamic Mandrasas. This book is amazing! Greg seemed like an unlikely philanthropist, but because he is so nonjudgmental and willing to like like the people he is serving, he is the perfect one to help! I am very inspired by his experiences! I'd recommend this book highly!
