Greg Mortenson was mountain climbing when he got lost, found, then lost again until he tumbled into the village of Korphe in Karakoram Mountains (in Pakistan near border with China). Greg stays in Korphe to recuperate and gains a deep admiration for the villagers who are willing to give when they have so little. This book is amazing! Greg seemed like an unlikely philanthropist, but because he is so nonjudgmental and willing to like like the people he is serving, he is the perfect one to help! I am very inspired by his experiences! I'd recommend this book highly!
