Fast paced and intense. I'm sure part of that was due to the chapters being 3-4 pages long and the POV switching constantly through all the different threads of the story, but I have to say that it was effective.

I picked this up for a book reading challenge and I found it interesting about that many layers of the characters in this story. I liked it overall...may not remember many of the details, but some are pretty shocking. Not planning to read a sequel.
I found this to be an exciting, original thriller that kept my attention the entire way through. I definitely recommend it if you are in the mood for a thriller.
Toward the middle, I thought I was going to hate this book, but the end wasn't so bad, so two stars from me.
