What Members Thought

I honestly didn't know much about this book before going into it but I had this general expectation of what it probably was going to be. The first few chapters I was sure I was right and then suddenly everything changed. I like that it kept me on my toes. Each chapter takes place on the same date of a different year, in chronological order for the most part. This book had a great premise - following a couple on July 15th for almost 20 years and seeing how their lives were changing. My biggest problem was that there was very little joy in their lives - the author could have been a little more upbeat in at least some of the years. But I will definitely see the movie and predict that Hollywood will lighten up the movie a bit.

Ending "format" was odd--not the actual story line just the jumping back and forth part.
