Gandhi is a 5-star person with 5-star ideas, but this autobiography is written with such humility and philosophy that it doesn’t quite capture the man or the mission. This was also written in 1921, when Gandhi still had 26 years left of his life, the more famous part, so in that sense it is incomplete.
That said, there were still some interesting facts and great nuggets of wisdom. Gandhi grew up in India to uneducated parents, yet his father was a diplomat. He was the youngest of four brothers. W
