What Members Thought
I'm always amazed at how narrow our world view is and the numerous variables that impact entire countries, societies, and other organized social systems as humans. Diamond, while occasionally a bit long winded, is excellent for illuminating aspects of our humanity and our nature as social creatures in ways you might not always expect.

While the theories seem sound, the discussion of "where we go from here" suffers from a lack of substance and intellectual rigor, particularly in comparison to the rest of the book.
