This is another one of my attempts to read new literature. This attempt wasn't quite as successful as my last one (with Da Vinci Code) but I enjoyed it nonetheless. This is a book for the down-and-dirty loser-nerds like me who are really into natural disasters and catastrophes. This book was about the 1883 eruption of the volcano on the Indonesian island of Krakatoa.
