What Members Thought
Would give 3.5 stars if possible. Delightful. Little bit dumb at times, but points for authenticity. Love the vignette style. If one little story doesn’t do it for you, go on to the next. Again, I sometimes found the narrator’s foibles and attempts to wrap up each tale with a quip irritating. But I also laughed my ass off more than once and came away with an appreciation for safari lifestyle.
An interesting, informative, and at times hilarious collection of adventures of a safari guide in Botswana.
It's well written and covers a variety of animals (men included :P ).

I think this book is actually a 3.5, but my love of all things Africa, and of animals in general almost makes this a 4.5 on my scale. Entertaining, witty, and I just wish there were more of it.
