Honourable Mention 2022
Note:I had to read this twice before posting this review because I got Covid-19 which caused my brain to go to mush and I couldn't remember what I wanted to say about it.
This may be seen as an unpopular opinion but I preferred this to Dracula. Despite how short this is (under 200 pages) it simultaneously manages to create atmosphere, build the characters, make you care, tell a complete story yet not embellish it with details to the point it drags. ...more
