Mrs. Pollifax is sent by the CIA on a safari in the African country of Zambia with the sole charge to take photos of the other participants and bring them back as one is an elusive international assassin. Of course, the mission goes in a completely different, dangerous direction. Similar formula, but enjoyable. Love that the protagonist is a 60+, grey-haired, widow with grown kids who is pursuing her dream career as a spy - and finding romance along the way.

Mrs. Pollifax and a safari in Zambia in the early 1970's make for a winning combination. This is possibly my second favorite book in the series so far (the first one will always be my favorite!). I had such fun with Farrell's return, Cyrus and the horrid Amy Lovecraft. Reading this felt like taking a short and adventurous vacation.

Mrs. Pollifax is sent to Zambia to obtain pictures of everyone on a safari as the CIA has it on good authority that the assassin Aristotle is part of the group. While there Mrs. Pollifax is also tasked with connecting with Farrell and seeing is he's interested in rejoining the CIA. This is the book where Cyrus is first introduced. Mr.s Pollifax is a lot of fun and I enjoyed the Africa setting. I'd like to re-read more of this series because I love the characters.

Fun, but a little too polemical and the resolution dragged out.
