This is the 3rd Troost offering I've read and while I enjoyed the other 2 a bit more I think this one is still very entertaining and I did learn about life (and pollution) in present day China thanks to his hapless adventures. If you like Bill Bryson you should give Troost a read!

This book was hilarious. I went to China 3 years ago, and it was great re-living some of my memories of Beijing. The sense of humor is quite clever as well. I highly recommend this if you have gone to China or plan to go at one point.
