Absolutely brilliant! His powers of observation and description are unmatched. One of the greatest "travel" books written. Chatwin can take a room, that you thought was otherwise empty, and render it with life and color and character that was always there. Amazing writing.

Disappointingly tedious considering how highly recommended it came and my own love of Patagonia.
