This book was one that I wanted to really love. It spread across 3 generations of Swedish women. Unfortunately, I had trouble keeping track of who was the mother, daughter, grandmother & the Swedish names created ongoing issues for me. It took me much longer that I expected to finish this novel, but that may say more about me than the book.
