Ahhhh finally finishing this book! Somehow this book feels so slow for me and a bit too flat. It's written as some sort of memoir, so mostly narrative with minimum dialogues, and the plot was back and forth between Elaine's past and present days. Some parts, for example when Elaine was struggling with the bullies when she was in elementary school, is quite interesting and I hoped for more scenes on that. But unfortunately there's no clear conclusions and closure on what really happened afterward ...more
