What Members Thought

I was so excited to read this book for a buddy read but it took me 3 weeks to read a book the length of something I can finish in a few hours. I hated the whole thing and it even gave me migraines. To those who like it thats great but this was not for me and I consider it a waste of $20.

I liked this book and the writing style was quite good. But it was so dark and maybe it was just my mood at the time but it left me feeling so low afterwards that it keeps me from saying that I thought it was amazing. Perhaps this is because Ishiguro tells this story, builds this future world, so well that it is easy to see how humanity could go down this path. A little to close to the bone perhaps...

I think I decided that I had read it before and couldn't get into it. Or it certainly didn't feel comfortable. But well written.
