I really liked this epic-saga. The writing is beautiful and rich, as are the scenes of rugged Australia. I was sucked in and loved and hated each of the characters. This is what good books are made of - rich characters who are flawed and perfect at the same time.
The morality of the book is left wanting: I definitely see why my mother would have banned the movie and book for me in my younger years. Nevertheless, this is a great read!
