This one is probably the only book (so far), that I'm placing on both the fiction and non-fiction shelves. (And I'm thinking about mythology as well.) I just know there's some serious b.s. in this, but it's great fun. Truly. Seriously, I view the book as a gift from Hemingway to all of those who are in love with this particular time in Paris.

This is the newly restored edition of my all time favorite book. The Preface by Patrick Hemingway and the Introduction by Sean Hemingway provide new perspective on the writing of this book by their father/grandfather and the changes to the original manuscript made by Hemingway's fourth wife Mary.
After reading it I can't say that there was much different although I loved the way they included several versions of the same lines to show how his thought process worked when he was writing. It is true ...more
