Soooooo relevant, even today the themes have definite weight...I appreciate Orwell's intuitive need to write this down, because it really just makes you think.

This is one of those "I can't believe you've never read it!" everlasting-shame deals, but now I can claw back some iota of credibility as a well-read person. And now on the other side of Orwell's tale, I completely get why this is a staple of reading lists everywhere - it's complex and thought-provoking while also being deeply entertaining.
